LINDSAY'S FAVORITES FROM WELCOME-TO-THE-WORLD SESSIONS
Welcome-To-The-World sessions are the soul of Lindsay Schumaier Photography. There is something no less than miraculous about bringing a new life into this world. These sessions take place in Lindsay's full service studio, and the focus of these sessions is to capture the details of your newborn's features and joy between you and your children and/or spouse. The beauty of having a studio session is having all the wraps, props and professional lighting all in one place. No stressing about a clean house and having to pick up afterwards. Those first couple of weeks home with a new baby are at the same time special and chaotic, and with sleep deprivation at an all-time high, it can easily become about survival making it hard to remember all the sweet little details once you have entered back into the land of the living (I mean… sleeping). Whether your family loves hikes, sports, gardening or the color purple, I work with you beforehand to brainstorm the style and themes that represent you and your family to help me more accurately capture this season in your lives.
My goal with Welcome-To-The-World sessions is that in 20-30 years when your babies are grown and gone and you sit down with your session album or memory box you can almost feel their soft skin on yours, smell their sweet new to the world scent and remember their tiny fingers wrapping around yours. I'm honored to document this short season in your family's life so in the years to come you can look back and remember the sweet moments in-betwen the chaos of spit-up covered clothes, blowout diapers and sleepless nights.
